CREATOR’S NOTE:

I am Ana Benitez Duarte —a multi-disciplinary director, editor, and designer. My journey has been ever-evolving; a wild, winding path fueled by curiosity, experimentation, and the drive to see what’s possible in this lifetime. Over the past decade, I’ve explored just about every medium, light and sound I could get my hands on. My work reflects a balance of structure and chaos, shaped by experiences in corporate settings and personal endeavours.

Creation is more than making something that looks cool—it’s about making something that resonates, something that speaks to the essence of who we are. Whether it’s pushing pixels or crafting by hand, everything can carry meaning and intention.

Creativity is a fluid, evolving process. My work is an extension of my thoughts, emotions and dreams. I find beauty in the process, the act of creation feels like alchemy. Creating something from nothing but a thought—an idea. Nature, film, surrealist art and the subconscious mind also play a significant role in shaping my creative direction. I am inspired by the world of mythology, psychology, philosophy and personal stories—both mine and those of others’. All this often guides my creative process. At the heart of it all, I’m drawn to capturing the messy, beautiful and deeply human parts of life and what makes us, us.

As I keep growing, all I want is to push even further and learn even more. I want to blur the lines between mediums, senses and even reality. I want to continue to share, open people up to different perspectives, and transport you to new worlds. I want to create experiences that shift how we see art, the world and ourselves.
