GOATBUSTERS
The GOATbusters campaign merged MLB legends with the Ghostbusters universe to highlight DirecTV Stream as the premier service for live sports and on-demand entertainment. Designed to engage audiences across generations, it used data-driven insights to meet viewers where they were, from social platforms to digital touchpoints.
As the campaign’s designer, I created visuals that brought this imaginative world to life, from mock-ups for pitch decks to Photoshop files for social media banners, and generating ideas for the AR gamification aspects of the campaign, ensuring an interactive layer that deepened audience engagement through social media channels. Collaborating with creative and art directors, I helped craft assets for social video vignettes and banners that integrated seamlessly with the campaign’s storytelling and cultural relevance.
The results spoke for themselves: content engagement doubled compared to other videos, site visits increased by 30%, and brand search demand grew by 23%—the highest organic brand search for DirecTV in 2022. Social engagement also rose by 43%, setting another record. The campaign earned a Shorty Award Bronze Honor for Brand Awareness Campaign, reflecting its cultural impact and creative excellence.
