The Collective on 4th, an apartment building located near Portland State University, provided me the opportunity to create several large-scale, site-specific artworks. In the lobby, I painted a striking 17’x11’ mural, and on the 15th-floor amenities lounge, I designed another piece at 5’x8’. Additionally, I curated a photo series for the elevator lobbies on each floor, turning these transitional spaces into moments of visual storytelling.
The photo series served as a heartfelt homage to Portland, a city that became my home for over four years. Through these artworks, I aimed to capture the vibrant energy and sense of belonging that the city inspired in me, creating pieces that resonate with the spirit of both the building and its community.
